Now what?
- Know assessment bias exists- become sensitive to it.
- Use absence-of-bias as one of the criteria that you evaluate your own and others' assessments with.
- Have a reliable colleague evaluate your assessments.
- Consider using assessment accommodations with students with disabilities and ELL students.
